This morning I received a phone call.
To many of you, this may not seem particularly exciting.
But consider that since I started working here, I have received exactly two phone calls:
- A wrong number from someone trying to reach a local falafel stand.
- A call last week that was mostly heavy breathing and curse words.
So, this call was–to say the very least–a milestone. And to make a long story short, we at Speech Technology Magazine and the Speech Tech Blog are now on Twitter.
What is Twitter, you ask.
Well, according to Twitter’s site: “Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?”
Yes, friends: You can get the latest speech technology news, blogs, information and much, much more via an online update–or tweet, as they are called–at this location.
Let the tweeting begin!
