Moneypenny Debuts Digital Receptionist Penelope

Telephone answering service provider Moneypenny has launched Penelope, the UK’s first complete call handling solution that features voice technology.
Penelope uses voice recognition to listen to caller requests, matches it against available employees, and directs the call to the correct person. Using the app, users can decide where and how their calls ring; instead of just ringing an office phone, it rings handsets that best suit the user, whether it’s mobile, home phone, or a colleague. The phone system also provides Moneypenny PA, a real person who can take calls. Businesses can use Penelope either by keeping their existing number, or choosing a new one from any UK region.
